Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India and to have a paradigm shift in academic and research programs of the country.
Under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, SKN Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pandharpur focuses on engaging the faculty and students in understanding rural problems, identifying and selecting existing innovative technologies, customizing solutions to meet the needs of villages, and developing effective implementation methods. For that, the Institute has adopted five nearby villages: Korti, Gardi, Gadegaon, Kasegaon, and Khandali from the Solapur district.
The Institute has taken many activities for the adopted villages like village surveys, household surveys, plan of action, gram panchayat development plan (GDPA), financial aids, and proposal writing for various technical issues.
